NHPC Limited, a prominent Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has announced the opening of online applications for its one-year apprenticeship training program. A total of 361 Graduate, Diploma, and ITI apprentice positions are available across various units and locations, offering a significant opportunity for promising and energetic candidates.
NHPC, recognized as the largest hydropower company in India and a leader in the design, construction, and operation of hydropower plants, is 70.95% owned by the Government of India. The company has commissioned 23 Hydro Projects, 6 Solar Power Projects, and 1 Wind Power Project, demonstrating its extensive presence in the power sector. The apprenticeship engagement is initially for one year, with a potential extension up to two years, as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961.
