Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026 : Detailed Overview :
The Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible unmarried male and female candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for the course commencing in January 2027. The training of selected candidates will be conducted at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.
This recruitment notification announces 260 tentative vacancies across the Executive, Engineering, Electrical, and Education branches. The initial selection process for the SSB interview does not include a written examination; candidates will be shortlisted based on academic performance in the qualifying degree. Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination.
The online application window will be open from 24 January 2026 to 24 February 2026. Applications must be submitted only through the official Indian Navy recruitment website: www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
