The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) is conducting direct recruitment for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts as Trainees.
- TGT (Arts) – Trainee: 425 vacancies.
- TGT (Non-Medical) – Trainee: 343 vacancies.

Qualification Required for HPRCA TGT Recruitment 2025
General Requirements for all TGT Posts (Arts, Non-Medical, Medical):
- Candidates must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, or any other agency authorized by the government.
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition does not apply if they are bonafide Himachalis.
Specific Educational Qualifications by Post:
- TGT (Arts) – Trainee: Graduation or Post Graduation (in any discipline) from a recognized University with at least 50% marks, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
- TGT (Non-Medical) – Trainee: B.Sc or M.Sc (Non-Medical) from a recognized University with at least 50% marks, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification recognized by the NCTE.
