Assam Police Grade IV Recruitment 2026 : Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Class VIII (8th Pass) from a recognized school or institution
• Maximum Qualification: HSSLC / Class XII Pass from a recognized board or council

• SSC Training Certificate OR

• Minimum 1 year experience from a recognized cooking institute or hotel

• SSC Training Certificate OR
• Minimum 1 year experience from a registered salon or beauty parlour

• SSC Training Certificate (mandatory)

• Minimum 1 year experience from a registered laundry or dry cleaner

Assam Police Grade IV Recruitment 2026 : Stages Of Selection

• Preliminary Identity & Document Verification: At the initial stage, the candidate’s Admit Card and a valid photo ID proof will be checked for identity verification.
• Biometric Verification: Biometric data of each applicant will be captured before and after the tests to ensure authenticity.
• Medical Examination: Candidates will undergo a medical examination conducted by a Medical & Health Officer to ensure they meet the required medical standards.
• Physical Standard Test (PST): Those who qualify the medical examination will proceed to the PST, where height and chest measurements will be taken. This test is qualifying in nature and carries no marks.
• Trade Proficiency Test (TPT): This is the final and most crucial stage, carrying a total of 50 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in this test. A minimum score of 33% is required to qualify.

2. Register on the portal using your name (as it appears on your certificates), a valid mobile number, and other required details like Employment Exchange Number and Date of Birth to generate a unique Application ID.
3.  Log in to the portal using your newly generated Application ID or registered mobile number and your date of birth.
4. Select the relevant advertisement for Grade IV Staff and proceed to fill in your personal and academic details with precision.
5. Upload clear, scanned copies of all required documents, including a recent passport-size photograph, your signature, age proof, educational certificates, and Caste Certificate (if applicable).
6. Thoroughly review your application for any errors, generate the One-Time Password (OTP) to finalize your submission, and download the final Acknowledgement Slip for your records and future reference.
