UPPSC Recruitment 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

• B.E/B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline.

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines.

• B.Arch. or a 4-year Degree in an allied field (e.g., Architectural Assistantship, Interior Design).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

• Master’s degree in appropriate subject.

• Master’s Degree in Library Science.
• Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC.

UPPSC Recruitment 2026 : Stages Of Selection

Paper-I (375 Marks, 2.5 Hours):

• General Hindi: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
• Main Subject Paper-I: 100 Questions (300 Marks)

• General Studies: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
• Main Subject Paper-II: 100 Questions (300 Marks)

Interview (100 Marks): Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a personal interview. The interview is designed to assess personality, communication skills, and subject knowledge.

How to Fill UPPSC Recruitment 2026 Online Form

1.  First, complete the One Time Registration (O.T.R.) on the official portal https://otr.pariksha.nic.in. If you already have an O.T.R. number, you can skip this step.
2. . Visit the official UPPSC website https://uppsc.up.nic.in and navigate to the ‘ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS’ section. Click on the ‘Apply’ link for Advertisement No. A-11/E-1/2025.
3. Authenticate using your O.T.R. Number. Your personal details will be auto-filled from your O.T.R. profile.
4. Proceed to fill in the required educational qualification details and other particulars specific to the post.
5.  Submit the application details and proceed to the fee payment stage via the SBI MOPS gateway.
6.  After successful payment, finalize and submit the application form.
7.  Download and print a copy of the final submitted application form for your records and future reference.
