• Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
• Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)
• Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/Junior Translation Officer (JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations.
• Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations.
• Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

Qualification Required for SSC JHT Recruitment 2025

• Master’s degree from a recognized University.
• A recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa; OR
• Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including a Government of India Undertaking.

[Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator)

• Master’s degree from a recognized University with the same language combinations as specified for Post Codes A-C (Hindi with English, English with Hindi, or other subjects with specific Hindi/English medium/subject requirements)
• A recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa; OR
• Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including a Public Sector India Undertaking.
• Candidates must also meet specific Physical and Medical Standards. This includes requirements for height (Male: 165 cms, Female: 155 cms, with relaxations for certain categories/regions), chest measurements (for male candidates only: Unexpanded 77 cms, Expanded 82 cms, with relaxations for Scheduled Tribes), and weight corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.

How to Apply for SSC JHT Recruitment 2025

1. . One-Time Registration (OTR) – Mandatory

   • Go to https://ssc.gov.in or use the My SSC app.

   • Click “Register Now” (if new user).

   • Provide:

     • Mobile number, Email ID (for OTP)

     • Aadhaar or valid ID proof

     • 10th class details (Board, Roll No., Year)

     • Disability certificate (if applicable)

   • Complete OTR in 14 days or your data will be deleted.

   2. Fill Online Application

   • Login using OTR credentials.

   • Go to “Live Exam” → “Apply” under “Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025”.

   • Check pre-filled info. Add:

     • Education details

     • Ex-serviceman status, Age relaxation (if applicable)

     • 3 exam centres

     • Translation course/experience details

     • Scribe requirement (if any)

   3. Upload Photo & Signature

   • Live capture your photo using webcam/mobile.

   • Upload scanned signature (JPEG, 10–20 KB, 6cm x 2cm).

   • Ensure clear, well-lit images as per guidelines.

   4. Final Submission

   • Preview all details carefully.

   • Tick declaration & enter captcha.

   • Click Submit Application.

   5. Pay Application Fee

   • Fee: ₹100

   • Exempted: SC/ST/Women/PwBD/ESM.

   • Pay via UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card.

   • Last Date to Pay: June 27, 2025 (11:00 PM)

   6. Correction Window (if needed)

   • Available: July 1 to July 2, 2025

   • 2 chances allowed:

     • ₹200 for 1st correction

     • ₹500 for 2nd correction
