- Sugarfed Headquarters (Part A): 14 posts are available at the Mohali headquarters, including positions such as General Manager (HQ), Chief Engineer, Manager (IT), Assistant Accounts Officer, Information Technology Assistant, Sr. Scale Stenographer, Senior Assistant, Clerk, and Driver.
- Cooperative Sugar Mills – Common Cadre (Part B): A substantial 108 posts are designated for cooperative sugar mills across the state, featuring roles like Dy. Chief Engineer, Dy. Chief Chemist, Dy. Cane Development Officer, Dy. Chief Accounts Officer, Assistant Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Civil), Manufacturing Chemist & Lab In-charge, Assistant Cane Development Officer and Technician, Assistant Accounts Officer, and Labour Welfare Officer.
- Cooperative Sugar Mills – Non-Common Cadre (Part C): An additional 44 posts are specific to various cooperative sugar mills, including Ajnala, Budhewal, Batala, Bhogpur, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Morinda, Nakodar, and Nawanshahr. Qualification Required for Punjab Sugar Mill Recruitment 2025

General Qualification Requirement:
- Punjabi Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric Standard is essential for direct recruitment. Candidates who have not passed Punjabi up to Matric Standard may still appear for the examination but will be required to clear a Punjabi language test during a three-year probation period. During probation, selected candidates will receive only the minimum basic pay.

Selection Procedure for Punjab Sugar Mill Recruitment 2025
|
Selection will primarily be based on merit in a Written Test.
- The written test will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the test will be 2 hours.
- Negative marking will be applied, with 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks for all categories is 35% of the total marks.
- The medium of examination will be English only, except for the Driver post, where it will be in English and Punjabi.
- The examination center will be in Chandigarh.
- In the event of two or more candidates scoring equal marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in the merit order.
