SLPRB Assam Recruitment 2026 : Educational Qualification

• H.S.L.C (Class-X) passed AND a Diploma of Tailoring from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Required Trade Skill: Ability to operate both automatic and manual sewing machines, with knowledge of fabrics, human body shapes, and sewing equipment.

• H.S.L.C (Class-X) passed AND a 2-year experience certificate in Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Required Trade Skill: Knowledge of contamination, sterilization, and disinfection of instruments; preparation of chlorine solution; antiseptic and aseptic procedures; decontamination; and cleaning and bandaging of wounds.

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from a Govt. Medical College.

• H.S.L.C (Class-X) passed AND a Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work /Tailoring/Weaving/Soap making from ITI or equivalent.

•  H.S.L.C (Class-X) passed AND a 1-month Certificate in Carpentry from ITI or equivalent.

• H.S. (Class-XII) passed AND a Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute.

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a Govt. Medical College AND registration under Assam Pharmacy Council.

SLPRB Assam Recruitment 2026 : Stages Of Selection

• Identity Verification & Biometrics: The process begins with the verification of the candidate’s documents and the capture of biometric data to ensure authenticity.
• Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This is a qualifying-only test to assess physical standards. Failure at any stage of the PFT will lead to immediate elimination from the recruitment process, and a Rejection Slip will be issued to the candidate.
• Trade Proficiency Test (TPT): This is the core component of the selection, carrying 50 marks. A panel of experts will assess the applicant’s practical skills and knowledge relevant to their chosen trade.
• Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based only on the marks scored in the Trade Proficiency Test (TPT). A minimum of 33% marks in the TPT is required to be considered for the merit list. This means that the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is strictly a qualifying hurdle and does not contribute marks to your final ranking.

2. Register on the portal using a valid mobile number and personal details like Employment Exchange Number, Date of Birth, etc. An Application ID will be generated.
3. Log in using your Application ID or Registered Mobile Number and Date of Birth.
4. Select the relevant advertisement (“RECRUITMENT FOR… TAILOR & DRESSER ETC”).
5. Carefully fill in all required personal and academic details in the online form.
6. Upload scanned copies of all required documents, including your recent photograph, signature, age proof, educational certificates, and caste certificate (if applicable).
7. Thoroughly review your application for any errors, submit the final form, and download the generated Acknowledgement Slip for your records and future reference.
